Hafez Mahjoob - DTC Certified Dog trainer
“The mark of a good dog trainer is one who can train a dog without using force or fear.”

Hiker, Traveller, Outdoor Lover, Nature Appreciator
From a young age, I was captivated by those TV detectives whose sharp minds were only outmatched by their trusty canine sidekicks. Whether they were sniffing out clues or charming their way into our hearts, these dogs always seemed to have everything under control. It was clear to me that these four-legged geniuses had something special, and I was determined to find out what it was.
Fast forward a few years (and countless hours of studying canine psychology), and I’ve traded in my suit and tie for leashes and treats. I’m now the proud dog dad of Bruno, a two-year-old rescued Doberman Pinscher with a heart of gold and a past full of challenges. When Bruno entered my life, he was deep into his second fear period—reactive, anxious, and unsure of his place in the world. This wasn’t just a turning point for Bruno; it was a wake-up call for me, too. I realised that the old-school methods I’d once believed in needed a serious upgrade. Bruno and I embarked on a journey together, embracing modern, science-based training techniques that reshaped both of our lives.
Before I decided to leave the corporate world behind, I spent my days coaching people and helping them achieve their goals. Now, I use those same skills to guide my clients towards building the kind of relationship with their dogs that they’ve always dreamed of. And let’s be honest—who wouldn’t want their very own K9 sidekick who’s as well-behaved as they are lovable?
My mission is simple but profound: to educate and empower dog owners. I want to help people not only understand their dogs but also unlock the potential for an extraordinary bond. Together, we tackle everything from the root causes of unwanted behaviours to mastering the art of setting your dog up for success. I believe that every dog deserves a chance to shine, and every owner deserves to know the joy of living with a happy, confident canine companion.
So whether you’re dealing with a rambunctious puppy or a seasoned veteran with a few quirks, I’m here to help. Let’s turn those “problem behaviours” into success stories—one wagging tail at a time.
